Polymer Solutions for Protection of Concrete Exposed to Strong Alkaline or Acid Effluent on Industriically optimal strategy to enhance RC structures’ chemical protection. An experimental study of strong acid resistance evaluation has been conducted on various polymer coatings. The results led to a multi-material approach for chemical resistance retrofitting of existing RC structures.

Nanotechnology will likely play an important role. Many innovative applications and processes to use CPC including 3D printing and new and exciting products using precast PC are on the horizon.

Stability of Latex in Cement Paste: Experimental Study and Theoretical Analysistability of latex in cement paste, and the higher coefficient of restitution contributes to the higher stability of latex in cement paste. These results provide some suggestions for the development of latex used for modification of cement-based materials.
