Routing Vehicles on Highways by Augmenting Traffic Flow Network: A Review on Speed Up Techniques,STAR is investigated by conducting extensive experimentation on real traffic network of Chennai Metropolitan City. The computational complexity of the algorithm is empirically analyzed. Experimental results have shown that the SP-STAR algorithm is faster compared to Dijkstra and TDALT with reduced complexity in computation.
