Coupled Dictionary Learning with Common Label Alignment for Cross-Modal Retrieval,ta from different modalities separately and then projects them into a common space, where the correlation between these modalities is encouraged by using common label alignment. Experimental results on two public datasets demonstrate that our method outperforms several state-of-the-art methods.

Fast and Accurate Text Detection in Natural Scene Images, results on the ICDAR 2011 Robust Reading Competition dataset demonstrate that the performance of our much simpler method is slightly lower than the state-of-the-art performance, however, the processing speed of this algorithm is at least four times faster.

Fast Film Genres Classification Combining Poster and Synopsis,film is classified based on the ‘OR’ operation on the outputs of the two classifiers. We verify our scheme on our collected film poster and synopsis dataset. The experimental results demonstrate the promise of our method which achieves the desirable performance by combining posters with synopsis.

A Heterogeneous Image Transformation Based Synthesis Framework for Face Sketch Aging,hotos by existing HIT methods. Then existing face aging methods are employed to obtain corresponding aged pseudo-photos. Finally, aged face sketches can be synthesized from obtained aged pseudo-photos via age-related HIT methods. Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed framework achieves exciting performances.

Precise Image Matching: A Similarity Measure Approach,m. Sum of Square Distance (SSD) measurement function is tested and chosen as similarity function to accomplish the reviving step. Experimental results show that the proposed method exhibits improved performance compared with SIFT and other methods.
