The Unstable 06.5f?p Star HD 148937 and its Interstellar Environmentlex (semimajor axis ≃ 1 pc) with HD 148937 located in the apparent center of symmetry. Here we report on observations of these nebulosities (narrow-band CCD imaging, IDS spectrophotometry, high resolution (△V ≃ 7 km sec.) spectroscopy) in an attempt to establish a consistent model of HD 148937 and its nebulosities.

Observations and Interpretations of Stellar Pulsations, RR Lyrae, ß Cephei and δ Scuti stars..For two classes the complex variability of stars is described in detail: the 53 Persei stars and the supergiants. In these two classes non-radial modes have been identified and the complete mode identification has still to be largely improved.

Theory of Vibrational Instabilities in Luminous Early Type Stars pulsation amplitudes are limited to relatively small values by nonlinear effects. Although the pulsations may enhance the mass loss from very massive stars, for ZAMS stars radiative driving forces will probably always dominate the mass loss rate.

Stellar Instabilities in the Upper Part of the Hertzsprung-Russell Diagramorkshop and thus contributed to its success. I think the Workshop greatly helped in clarifying ideas on the questions why there are no stars brighter or more massive than certain upper limits, and what happens to stars close to these limits.

Theory of Non-Radial Pulsations in Massive Early-Type Starsstars. Variation in modal-property with stellar evolution is then discussed with the help of the so-called propagation diagram. Problems of vibrational instabilities, effects of rotation, possible consequence of existence of non-axisymmetric waves on the stellar atmosphere are briefly discussed.
