Acute Medical Events: Falls, Seizures, CVAs, Urinary Retention, Cardiac Events, Hypotension, SIADH, unit, with an emergency medical team (EMT), or in the ED. The challenge is to manage the acute medical event until more definitive evaluation and treatment can be provided.
