Fluorescence In Situ Hybridization,DNA probes onto whole cells! Silence ensued after this outrageous comment. “You are going to perform a hybridization experiment in situ? You must be mad. Applications of Affinity Labeling in Biomedical Sciences,ich—although the end products are not viewed using microscopy—are useful for obtaining maximum information when the sample size is limited. Parallel advances in instrumentation technology, such as confocal scanning microscopy and laser scanning cytometry, have permitted us to obtain progressively more information from our labeled samples.
