Mixing Dendron and PEG Initiators for the Polymerisation of Branched pHPMA and Formation of Stericaonditions, it was desirable to produce nanoparticles which were sterically stabilised rather than charge stabilised. Steric stabilisation can be achieved through the incorporation of a hydrophilic moiety to the nanoparticle—usually a hydrophilic polymer.
