Protocol for Isolation, Screening, and Cultivation of Asphaltene-Degrading Microorganism,, and vanadium and hence are poisonous for catalysts in refinery processes. This has led to a strong incentive to find microorganisms which are able to cleave asphaltene compounds and thus promote facile exploitation of these resources.

Cultivation of Anaerobic Microorganisms with Hydrocarbons as Growth Substrates,de, for instance, dilution of potentially toxic hydrocarbons in an inert carrier phase and precautions to avoid diffusion of traces of oxygen through stoppers during long incubations. Furthermore, contact of liquid hydrocarbons with stoppers should be avoided.

Protocols for High-Throughput Isolation and Cultivation, lation of cells into agarose microcapsules. After isolating individual cells by encapsulation, the population of cells can be incubated as a whole. Cells that divide and form distinct microcolonies within the microcapsule can subsequently be separated from each other by flow cytometry.

Oleaginous Microalgae Isolation and Screening for Lipid Productivity Using a Standard Protocol, solation of monoalgal strains, coupled to a standard protocol to evaluate their potential for lipid accumulation by directly comparing lipid productivities. Other important criteria to consider include the ability to harvest microalgae and extract their oil cost-effectively.

Yanqing Song,Bing Li,Yong Qiu,Huabing Yin from the IPCC (Intergovernamental Panel on Climate Change) related to drivers of climatic change in the region such as deforestation, forest fires, hurricanes and changes in sea level. We will explain how these factors have influenced the loss of biodiversity and contributed to global change.
