Interurban Electric Vehicle Charging Stations Through Genetic Algorithmse location of charging stations to create a nationwide infrastructure. In this case, we focus on Spain and using genetic algorithms, we search for and evaluate different configurations according to the number of stations desired. Our results show that, with 250 stations, an initial infrastructure that covers most of the territory can be developed.

An Effective Hybrid Genetic Algorithm for Solving the Generalized Traveling Salesman Problemion algoRithm (COR) that is based on Dijkstra’s Shortest Path Algorithm (DSPA) and a Traveling Salesman Problem Solver (TSPS). We tested our algorithm on a set of well known instances from the literature and the preliminary computational experiments show promising results. We believe that our HGA can be used as a basis for future developments.
