Culture and Language Issues heterogeneity likely will continue in the future, so it is important to examine the impact of culture on space crewmembers. Although producing some stress early in a mission, differences among crewmembers can become an asset later on when monotony and homesickness can occur, and people seek out novel ideas and new relationships.

Autonomy and the Crew–Ground Interactioning with the mission objectives autonomously. In contrast, during near-Earth missions on orbit or to the Moon, people on Earth still will be involved with mission planning and provide important support for crewmembers.
