Applications of Induced Pluripotent Stem Cell-Derived Glia in Brain Disease Research and Treatmentn diseases, then summarizes different methods of generating iPSC-derived glia disease models of these cells. Finally, strategies for treating disease using iPSC-derived glia are discussed. The goal of this chapter is to provide an overview and shed light on the applications of iPSC-derived glia in brain disease research and treatment.

Human iPS Cells for Clinical Applications and Cellular Productscombining new differentiation protocols, quality control and reproducible manufacturing, iPSC-derived cellular products could provide treatments for many currently untreatable diseases, allowing the large-scale manufacture of high-quality cell therapies.
