Hot and Mineral Spring Water for Health Benefitsf application. A case study of using Singa hot spring water for musculoskeletal problems is also presented. Various thermal sites in Nepal with the potential to serve as treatment centers have been identified.

Introduction to Hot and Mineral Springstemperatures, flow rates and the chemical compositions. It also identifies the area possibly having a large geothermal reservoir and presents the standing of renewable energy resources in the total energy scenario of Nepal.

Applications of Geothermal Energynvolved. It also indicates the growing trend in the application of geo-heat pumps in the world compared to other applications. Some case studies related to power generation, industrial application and geo-cooling activities in Nepal are also presented.
