Asymmetry in Solar Spectral Linesumerical experiment is performed in a case not too different from the solar case. It is shown that the use of the line bisector to determine, from the asymmetry of a single line, the trend of the velocity field might be considerably misleading, a fact which explains partly the results published in literature.

Early Stages of the Universealso become highly astrophysical. As a result we can now say a great deal about the early stages of the Universe. My aim is to give a brief account of our present understanding of this fascinating subject, at the same time highlighting the most important problems that remain.
