Micropropagation of Pear (, L.)Pears belong to the Rosaceae family. Two species of the genus . are grown in the temperate climate: . L. in western Europe and America, and P. serotina Redh. (syn. . Nakai) in Japan. Two other species are cultivated to a lesser extent: . Redh. in China and . Maxim, in cold areas of China and the USSR.

Micropropagation of American Sweetgum (, L.)nd eastern Asia (.). This is a remarkable distribution for a genus with relatively few taxa. The American sweetgum, redgum or bilsted (.) is undoubtedly the best known and most useful of the sweetgums, and has received the greatest horticultural and silvicultural research interest.

Micropropagation of Cocoa (, L.)ed by Hernandez Cortez in 1519 (Gill and Duffus Group 1987). In fact, cocoa plants were seen on the coast of Colombia near the present border of Ecuador in about 1526 . Historically, the seeds of cocoa were used as a beverage, used by the Aztecs as far back as 1519 for paying tribute and a currency, “cocoa bean currency”.
