Micro and Macroturbulence in Superfluid Heliumns where it has been traditionally applied. The main physical issues in formulating these kinds of problems are how the microturbulence interacts with the two velocity fields that describe the flow of superfluid helium to modify the macroscopic turbulence, and how this large scale turbulence acts back on and sustains the microturbulence.
