How Do Droplets Depend on the System Size? Droplet Condensation and Nucleation in Small Simulation C as the system tunnels between the vapor and the liquid state as a function of system size. The results highlight the finite size dependence of droplet properties in the canonical ensemble and free energy barriers along the path from the vapor to the liquid in the grandcanonical ensemble.

There are many such problems in the field of energy saving and generation, particularly those areas concerned with solar gain. This work forms a first step in exploring the potential of this approach.

Amorphous Silica at Surfaces and Interfaces: Simulation Studiesin equilibrium and under shear. We show that in the latter three examples important structural information such as ring size distributions can be gained from the computer simulation that is not accessible in experiments.
