Ronald J. Hall,Jean-François Côté,Daniel Mailly,Richard A. Fourniere the equations computer software is used. The step-by-step analysis leads to quite sophisticated models some of them being original. The book helps the reader to develop more general approach to the problems. It may be useful for experienced readers as well.

Jean-François Côté,Richard A. Fournier,Michel M. Verstraetec cases are analyzed in Part II, Chaps. 4–7. Strictly speaking, the chapters comprising Part III do not deal with the temporal processes but are related to them and the approaches and results obtained are necessary elsewhere.

Measurement of Forest Structure with Hemispherical Photography,hotographs. Strengths and weaknesses of forest canopy structural attributes measured based on Beer’s law, in particular from canopy gaps as seen from a hemispherical sensor or photograph, are presented. Finally, scaling issues are introduced from single trees to a stand and from stands to area mapping with satellite sensing.
