Flow Equipartition and Shape Optimization of Fluidic Channel Networks, channel networks will be briefly presented, building on analogies with living organisms (e.g. the lung or the vascular system). The theoretical basis of the optimization of such networks will be illustrated on simple examples. A few examples of elaborate designs for complex problems will be given, with the aim of process intensification.
