Experimental and Theoretical Studies on the Radiative Properties of CO2 at High Temperature: Applicane calculations were used to predict the CO. emissivities. These theoretical values will be shown to agree well with the experimental ones. A new method is proposed in order to make temperature and concentration measurements from emission spectra alone.

Modelling of Thermally Radiating Diffusion Flames with Detailed Chemistry and Transportemistry and molecular transport. The overall model is validated by comparison of the numerical results with experimental data available in the literature. It is shown that at medium to low values of the strain rate radiation has a particularly strong impact on the flame structure.
