Changes in Heat Shock Proteins in Cardiac Hypertrophy,n, not only HSPs but also many other genes such as proto-oncogenes are usually induced. It is unclear whether the induction of HSPs is essential for the development of myocardial hypertrophy, or whether HSPs have a role in the development of myocardial hypertrophy in combination with other genes.
