In many practical applications, such as in TV channelequalization, digital transmission, and pulse compression applied toradar, sonar and detection, the soft least square approach, whichattempts to match the output waveform with a specific desired pulse,is not the most suitable one. Instead, it becomes necessary to ensurethat the response stays within the hard envelope constraints definedby a set of continuous inequality constraints. The main advantage ofusing the hard envelope-constrained filter formulation is that itadmits a whole set of allowable outputs. From this set one can thenchoose the one which results in the minimization of a cost functionappropriate to the application at hand. The signal shaping problems soformulated are semi-infinite optimization problems. .This monograph presents in a unified manner results that have beengenerated over the | 出版日期 | Book 2001 | 关键词 | Radar; algorithms; communication; filter; integrated circuit; metal-oxide-semiconductor transistor; optimi | 版次 | 1 | doi | https://doi.org/10.1007/978-1-4757-3409-6 | isbn_softcover | 978-1-4419-4858-8 | isbn_ebook | 978-1-4757-3409-6Series ISSN 1384-6485 | issn_series | 1384-6485 | copyright | Springer Science+Business Media Dordrecht 2001 |
