描述.Every cell, tissue, organ and organism is competent to use signs to exchange information reaching common coordinations and organisations of both single cell and group behavior. These sign-mediated interactions we term biological communication. The regulatory system that works in development, morphology, cell fate and identity, physiology, genetic instructions, immunity, memory/learning, physical and mental disease depends on epigenetic marks. The communication of cells, persistent viruses and their defectives such as mobile genetic elements and RNA networks ensures both the transport of regulatory instructions and the reprogramming of these instructions. But how are the different states of the epigenome orchestrated? The epigenetic pathways respond to various signaling cues such as DNA methylation, histone variants, histone modifications, chromatin structure, nucleosome remodeling, and epigenetic interactions. Epigenetic signals are responsible for the establishment, maintenance and reversal of transcriptional states that are fundamental for the cell‘s ability to memorize past events, such as changes in the external environment, socio-sphere or developmental cues. External signals

Epigenetic Control of Cell Fate Decisions by Enhancer-Derived Long Noncoding RNAs,he myriad of architecturally sculpted and intricately connected bones, muscles and organs. The spatiotemporal control of this developmental symphony resides in genetic loci termed enhancers, of which ~1 million exist in the human genome. Enhancers have long been thought to act as sites for the bindi

Epigenetic Inheritance, ades. Mitotic inheritance, ensuring the propagation of epigenetic information throughout cell division, is crucial for preserving cell fate, functionality, organisms’ development and for transcriptional memory of past events. In addition, the more elusive meiotic inheritance, responsible for transmi

Epitranscriptomics: Regulating Brain Plasticity Through Dynamic RNA Modifications, tudies have shown that RNA modifications not only affect different aspects of RNA fate, but also regulate many processes in brain development, behaviour, stress response, and the pathophysiology of neurological disorders. In this Chapter, we review the current findings on epitranscriptomic modificat

Genomic Risk for Schizophrenia, the Early Life Environment, and the Room Left for Developmental Episease is not linear. Research suggests that schizophrenia etiopathogenesis may rest in the altered functioning of the epigenetic machinery that regulates interactions with the environment since early life. Some of the genetic variants associated with schizophrenia play a role very early in placenta,

Prospective Intergenerational Consequences of Paternal Stress Experiences on Offspring Immune Healt stress to manifest as physiological maladaptations. Stress is a persistent issue with broad-ranging implications for the mental and physical health of society, including its broad impact on immune health. Evidence shows that stress activates pro-inflammatory cytokine pathways that contribute to the
