Enigmas and Hypotheses,A symposium embracing the basic and clinical sciences is successful insofar as it establishes a dialogue among persons of diverse interests and experience. We have much to give each other but, immersed in our special disciplines and peculiar jargons, we are prone to go our separate ways with progressive lack of intercommunication.
