Intraocular causes of diplopiat diplopia is present when one of the eyes is occluded or is only present on binocular vision. . diplopia may have an intraocular cause but as a rule the cause is located outside the eye in the ocular muscles, the innervation, or a more central part of the visual pathway. On the other hand, . diplopia as a rule is caused by an intraocular lesion.
