Effects of Transmission Lines in Applications of Exploding Wirespedance mismatch between the circuit and the exploding wire. The effective impedance of the exploding wire is nonlinear; therefore, the impedance mismatch is also a function of time and the observed wire explosion phenomenon is affected by the circuit.

In the present paper the general formulation of the problem is presented and the solutions and results of the two authors are reviewed and discussed.
