An assumption basic to all systems analysis is that these variables can at least be described by probability laws, and hence are . in the sense of Probability Theory.

In fact, economic reasons often suggest to share a single line of high capacity among several terminals, even if they are at different locations.

Core buffer requirements,Message transmission over a telecommunication line, once it is started, continues to the end of the message irrespective of how the characters are received in the computer center. It is necessary to provide enough space in core memory of the center so that character by character can be stored there as they arrive. Otherwise, data might be lost.
