Examples of Information Modeling,tion and design databases and knowledgebases are included. These examples illustrate the logic of TSER, and also provide some practical designs that may be used as some elements of a core reference model for realistic systems design projects.

Manufacturing Integration,ate basic manufacturing information systems. A core information model and a specific procedure of using this model to develop a metadatabase system is provided. In this sense, this chapter offers an elaboration of the metadatabase solution to manufacturing integration that chapter 1 indicates.
