Formulating the Research Questions,Chemical functionalization of endohedral metallofullerenes is an important direction for creation of novel materials based on endohedral metallofullerenes. Recent progress in the experimental and theoretical studies of chemical properties of endohedral metallofullerenes and their ions is reviewed.
