Removal of Emerging Contaminants from Water and Wastewater by Adsorption Process,s chapter has the aim to study the adsorption process in the removal of emerging compounds. Firstly, a brief description of adsorption mechanism is given and then the study of conventional and non-conventional adsorbents for the removal of emerging compounds is reviewed with the comparison between them.
