The further application of ENMs in oil–water separation is under exploration, and it is expected that electrospinning technology will have a broad prospect in the design and fabrication of next-generation oil–water separation materials in the future.

Characterization of Electrospun Nanofibers,s and molecular weight using NMR, FTIR, and Raman have also been explained. Electrical conductivity, magnetic properties, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, etc., have also been covered in this chapter. Understanding of these physical and chemical features of nanofibers can play a pivoting role in designing materials for intentioned applications.
