https://doi.org/10.1007/978-3-031-35535-6to give an estimate of the lifetime in the atmosphere. It is estimated that the lifetime of SF.CF. is of the order of 1000 years. The lifetimes are then used to calculate the Global Warming Potential (GWP). The calculated GWP value of SF.CF. is found to be between 17,000 and 18,100.
