Developments in the Study of Biomaterials Degradation,. Zero-resistance ammetry can be used to study the behaviour of galvanic couples between carbon composites and various common metallic materials. Capacitance measurements account for differences in corrosion behaviour of stainless steel in normal and simulated infected media.

Ellipsometry in Studies of Metallic Corrosion and Oxidation, is subdivided into the various forms of corrosion to which ellipsometry has been applied. Studies on characterization of passive films have been classified with respect to the metal. A section on the use of ellipsometry to characterize the oxidation behavior of materials exposed to oxygen is also presented.
