Green Roofs in Desert Southwest Ecoregionslants grow and reproduce. Bird and reptile diversity are also highly rich and abundant. Ecoregional green roofs located in Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, and southeastern California demonstrate how 106 taxa native to the desert and montane meadow ecoregions can be employed on green roofs.
