Lunar magmatismsystem that is unavailable on Earth. Furthermore, understanding the Moon’s formation and early evolution helps increase our knowledge of the Earth, because the two bodies appear to have formed close together in space and time.

Early Precambrian basic rocks of the USApabyssal and volcanic basic components, ranging in age from early to late Archaean. In addition, early to mid-Proterozoic hypabyssal basic intrusions occur in virtually all of the Archaean cratonic regions, while early to mid-Proterozoic metavolcanic suites occur throughout western central USA (Condie, 1986).

Early Precambrian basic rocks of Chinaical composition, chemical evolution and physical conditions of planetary mantles. By contrast, granitic magmas may be considered as second or higher-order differentiation products and they play key roles in the study of continental development and accretion, crustal recycling, particular trace element concentration processes and mineralisation.

A review of the mineralisation associated with basic intrusive complexes is also presented, focusing on the chromite and PGE mineralisation of the major early Precambrian layered intrusions, and in particular the Bushveld, Stillwater and Great Dyke complexes.

Öffentlicher Personennahverkehrclei in the Indian Shield. Detailed geochemical data are rather sparse for many of these occurrences, and this review concentrates on those regions (primarily the Dharwar craton; Figure 15.1) for which a reasonable body of petrological and chemical data are available.

It has been estimated that 80% of the Precambrian of South America had formed by the end of the Transamazonian (Cordani ., 1988).
