Dendritic Cells and Tumor Immunotherapy,vironment (TME). It also decreases the levels of pro-inflammatory cytokines and increases the levels of immune-stimulating cytokines. This therapy promotes apoptosis in tumor cells, increases the number of CD8. T cells, and inhibits the tumor-promoting STAT3 signaling pathway.

The primary objective of this chapter is to provide a comprehensive review of the immunomodulatory effects of selenium on dendritic cells and to elucidate the underlying molecular mechanisms that may be involved.
