Propagation of Internal Waves in Horizontally Inhomogeneous Oceanaracteristic horizontal inhomogeneities are: bottom unevenness; horizontal inhomogeneities of the density field; and horizontal variations of the mean flows. The influence of these phenomena on internal waves’ propagation will be studied in this chapter.
