The Advantages of Thermal Analysis Prior to Bench-Scale Roasting A simultaneous thermogravimetric and differential scanning calorimetry (TG—DSC) can identify endothermic and exothermic reaction temperatures. Using thermal analysis, some of the process variables can be tested and eliminated such as ore and reagent blends, retention times, operating temperatures, and some atmospheres.
