Adoum Youssouf,Daouda Ahmat,Mahamat Borgoummunity complexity can give rise to a positive food-web complexity-stability effect. Spatiality may play a more important role in stabilizing dynamics of complex, real food webs than expected from ecological theory based on the models of simpler food webs.

Ecology and Evolution of Density-Dependencefunctional response or density-dependence in interspecific interaction strongly alters relationship between complexity and community stability, solving the problematic ‘complexity-stability’ debate in community ecology.

Book 2020ty debate. Real ecological communities do not simply comprise diverse species and interactions, which respectively represented the nodes and links of the classic network theory. Rather, they are characterized by different types of complexity, and this book explains how this diversity of complexity i

Interaction-Type Diversity and Community Stabilityargue that the multiple interaction types might hold the key to understanding community dynamics. Furthermore, I propose a “hybrid” community where increasing complexity leads to increased stability. I hypothesize that the diversity of species and interaction types may be the essential element of biodiversity that maintains ecological communities.
