Electricity Price Forecast for Futures Contracts with Artificial Neural Network and Spearman Data CoThe proposed model is based on the results of a data analysis using the spearman rank correlation coefficient. From this analysis, the most relevant variables to be considered in the training process are identified. Results show that the proposed model for monthly average electricity price forecast is able to achieve very low forecasting errors.

Using Queueing Networks to Approximate Pedestrian Simulationsnvironments or we just want to obtain approximate calculations of these simulations quickly. In this paper, we propose a simplified model of simulation based on a network of configurable queues that helps us to approximate the results of a complex simulation in a very short time, while maintaining a high representativeness of the real simulation.

An Agent-Based Simulation Model for Emergency Egresss for integrating models (e.g. affiliation) that explain the social behaviour and help in mass evacuations. The proposed egress model has been evaluated in a university building and the results show how these models can help to better understand egress behaviour and apply this knowledge for improving the design and execution evacuation plans.

,Theories, Rumors, and Travelers’ Tales, facturing system is considered where the availability of resources and the capacity of the buffers are input values and the throughput and average product lifespan, that is, the particular detail relating to the time remaining within a system, are output values. The simulation model of the system is created using Tecnomatix Plant Simulation.

The main contribution of the paper is to define the methodology of simulation modeling based on cyclical processes - a multimodal approach and an approach to modeling from a high level where the basic object is a workstation.
