An Efficient Algorithm for Shakedown Analysis Based on Equality Constrained Sequential Quadratic Pr problem at the same level so allowing a consistent linearization that improves the computational efficiency. The numerical tests performed for 2D problems show the good performance and the great robustness of the proposed algorithm.

Three-Dimensional Shakedown Solutions for Cross-Anisotropic Cohesive-Frictional Materials Under Movtropy and plastic anisotropy are investigated. And shakedown solutions for a two-layered pavement system with cross-anisotropic materials are also presented. Results imply that pavement design based on the isotropic assumption may result in unsafe design against rutting.
