Robust Control Design with MATLAB® remains excellent at lower doses and higher frequencies. ACR phantom and breast images from production prototypes exhibit unprecedented image sharpness and near quantum noise limited operation. Clinical use of this FFDM system is expected to improve image quality at reduced patient dose compared to screen-film mammography.

We also measured NPS values changing the exposure level to evaluate the relationships between the exposure dose and the noise with PMMA phantom. Each system indicated improvement of NPS value in accordance with increase of exposure level.
