Resource Management for Cellular D2D Underlay,e the scheme of spectrum allocation and power control. In this chapter, resource management in cellular D2D underlay networks is investigated, where D2D links can reuse the spectrum resource of cellular users for data transmission, the so-called resource sharing.

In the following, we describe some key points required to enable D2D communications, and categorize them under three topics: proximity discovery, mode selection, and resource management.

Summary and Future Work,c introduction and some design aspects and related technologies have been demonstrated in the first two chapters. Then, some application technologies and optimization schemes focusing on proximity discovery, mode selection, and resource management have been proposed and discussed.
