Flows between Rotating Platesperimental studies. Such sedulous studies notwithstanding, the problem has continued to open new horizons hitherto unexplored. We shall discuss some of these new developments here. A more detailed presentation can be found in the recent review article by Rajagopal [2].

Surface Waves of Viscous Fluid Down an Inclined Planesystem globally in time under appropriate smallness conditions. In the second part we treat an approximate equation which may be called Korteweg-de Vries-Kuramoto-Sivashinsky equation and can be derived under the assumption of small amplitude and long waves for the free surface problem and we obtain travelling periodic waves of the equation.
