Forms of Exercise TestingMany forms of exercise have been used to determine human physical capacity. Within the last few decades most of the seven forms shown in Fig. 1 have been in use. No standardization has been achieved yet, however. In the following text four different types will be compared in order to show the similarities and the essential differences.
