Approximate Equations for the Design of Cross- Flow Heat Exchangersexchangers. Approximate equations for the thermal calculation of these flow arrangements with arbitrary numbers of passes are proposed. Their accuracy and limitations are discussed. The accuracy of the given equations is more than sufficient for practical design.
