On the Vertical Flux of Gaseous Ammonia above Water and Soil Surfacesion differences give a good correlation with the values of the measured flux. Above uncultivated soil surface deposition process takes place in most cases. It suggests that the atmospheric ammonia level generally exceeds the equilibrium concentration, determined by the chemical composition of soil. The average deposition velocity is 0.48 cm.s..

Seasonal and Regional Distribution of Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons in Precipitation in the Rheinis directly influenced by the meteorological parameters. Significant maximum concentrations in winter and low concentrations in summer prove seasonal variation. The regional distribution of the PAH in precipitation is governed by the influence of local sources.

Die übrigen Kleearten bzw. Futterleguminoseny deposition of lead, Aitken nuclei and 1.8 µm monodisperse particles are discussed. They give deposition velocities within a factor of three of the wind tunnel data. The larger deposition velocities suggested in some other experiments are not consistent with estimates of the atmospheric lifetime of small particles.
