Fusion-fission type collisions,volutions of this mechanism into fusion fission and into a deep-inelastic process and particle emission prior to fusion have been observed. Based on the widths of the fragment-mass distributions of a great variety of data, a further criterion for the compound-nucleus-fission process is tentatively proposed.

In the whole picture the relative motion of the fragments is treated on equal footing with the dynamics of other collective degrees of freedom of both the fragments and the composite system.

Social Behavior Problems in Adolescenceum in the direction of the detected projectile-like fragment. It is proposed that the first pre-equilibrium component stems from the very early stages of heavy ion collision before the system has had a chance to rotate whereas the second component originates from the later stages of heavy ion collision and the first instants of separation.
