Creating Field-Based BW/4HANA Models, database schema to the BW/4HANA layer. In this chapter, we will take advantage of Open ODS Views to build a virtual star schema, field-based data model in BW. I will also explain how you can automatically generate an intermediate data storage layer between the Open ODS View and source objects, without needing to edit the reporting layer.
