Introduction,at dictate the expectations from the underlying data center networks. We then briefly review the data center network requirements presented in the literature, that need to be met by future data center networking architectures.

Data Center Network Topologies: Current State-of-the-Art,on which is based on the folded-Clos network. While these approach meet the demands of the current DCN, they are not suited to meet future demands. This chapter reviews some of the salient features of the approaches and points out their shortcomings.
