Aik Lim Tan,Chin Fen Ho,Azilawati Jamaludinally, in FE-simulations of wedge-splitting tests, the applied forces are modelled incompletely. A possibility is described to circumvent this inaccuracy, what results in a better approximation of the experiments. All calculations were performed using PC-DIANA 5.1.

Nonlinear Analysis of Reinforced Concrete Members under High Temperatureature distributions. It is important to establish a method to simulate the behavior of the structures up to failure subjected to mechanical and thermal loads simultaneously. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the thermal elasto-plastic analysis method for this kind of problem.
